A little trick for VA's that are using freewebs account...

Featured Replies

Wether you are stuck for cash or just want to set up a small va project for you and your friends(NOT INTENDED FOR LARGER VA PROJECTS), ill show you how to get the most out of your freewebs account.STEP1Sign up for your freewebs account, It is important that you select a template(freewebs default) that has CSS Enabled(ONLY)STEP2Design a template in photoshop or paintshop whichever, Slice it up and import it into Dreamweaver,Or a similar freeware tool(nothing that google won't be able to help you out with).OR if you don't have any of these programs, try a free CSS template(can be found on a google search also).STEP3Open your freewebs account, go to file manager and import the files you made with photshop, dreamweaver, your free template etc.(making sure you import index.html, style.css, and your image files)Your template is now ready for editing.{note: you must have a little HTML knowledge when editing your .html files}STEP4When your site is finished and you are ready to publish it, you will more than likely want to re-direct the domain name,You can do this by signing up with CJB.net or similar domain.{note: You must re-direct each of your .html pages one by one, ie:index.html, fleet.html etc etc}STEP5The final step!! Freewebs only allows you about 40MB of space, I would sign up with DriveHQ and they will host your big files up to around 1GB ie:fleet downloads etc and just link them back to your website.Final wordI hope this helps you guys out in some way, feel free to send me a PM if you need anymore help, cheers ladsAn example freewebs account!http://www.freewebs.com/newva
