January 25, 200818 yr Celtic Airways Announces Arrival of new 767 in NEW LIVERYDublin, Ireland- Captain Alex Ho completed the delivery flight of the newest addition to the Celtic Airways fleet early this morning. The new build Boeing 767-200ER had completed fitting at the company's widebody aircraft maintenance facility in Ontario, California, and was sent off on its 10 hour journey to its new home. The new aircraft carries the new color scheme of Celtic Airways, which will be rolled out on the rest of the fleet in the coming months. The scheme contains both old and new elements in a more modern, upscale design. It replaces the simpler interim livery that had been used since the end of 2006. Work continues on the airline's website, as content is being upgraded to take full advantage of the VAFS system, as well as more useful features for pilots. As Phase 1 draws to a close, Phase 2 will gear up. This will include more content upgrades as well as some cosmetic upgrades to match the new color scheme.
