March 12, 200224 yr British Manchester is a large british VA with over 150 pilots i am now finding it difficult to keep the roster updated so i am looking for someone to automate it for. I am willing to pay real world money for this automation as long as it is a good system and you could customise it too my needs.http://manchester.fshosts.com/777sig.gif
March 13, 200224 yr If you draw up some specs and post them people can have a better look of what you want.Webbased, windows GUI, DOS, Linux? If webbased, what languages/tools are available for use (PHP, Perl, JSP, etc.)?What database do you intend to use (don't think I can come to you with a program requiring Oracle 8i to be installed for example)?Your request is too vague for me and others to make a serious estimate of what you want (and already have at this time) and what effort would be required to design and build something to do that within the limitations you may have.
March 15, 200224 yr Ok, my server supports CGi and PHP which i think would be the obvious languages to program this in. What i am looking for is an suto-roster system which would automatically add piltos and send them a welcome e-mail and automatically update flights hours and maybe even have log books. I would need it to be fully customisable and have certain settings of deleting pilots if they dont fly a flight within 3 months and i would also need to be able to edit the roster if there is a faulty enrol .etc. i hope this provides a bit more information for you.http://manchester.fshosts.com/777sig.gif
March 15, 200224 yr Those are about the only things I don't know to program in :-hmmm As a whole, it doesn't sound too complex for someone with some Perl knowledge.
March 17, 200224 yr I am developing a system for this, however a MySQL database is required. AOL IM Me, 'coz I cant use MSN and we can talkThanxCYa L8r

May 5, 200224 yr Check out. www.ar-source.com It is fully automatic. You could email Tom Little, the CEO, and ask him a few questions, i'm sure he wouldn't mind answering.
