May 5, 200224 yr HiI fly on-line a lot with SquawkBox. I call myself British Airways, although my current aircraft doesn't have a proper livery. (Phoenix Airbus without a livery). I always use voice, usually fly from Heathrow to Amsterdam Schiphol, or Frankfurt and back. I have a great time flying on-line, and can't see any reason why I should join a Virtual Airline. But then again, my knowledge about VA's is............well about zero! So, my question is: what would I gain by joining a VA, and what, if any commitments would I have?Your responses to this very naive question are greatly appreciated.ThanksSunil Mulay
May 5, 200224 yr You have just solved the mystery of the va's they are useless....and some illegal. Call yourself whatever you want online that's the beauty of the internet...anonymity....ahhhhh
May 6, 200224 yr Go take a look at Livewire Airline and you'll see why people love VA's. Online races every month where we give away prizes (Like FSNavigator, FSAssist, Tee-shirts, etc). The V-money you earn flying for the VA will allow you to participate in our online casino (bookie bets, poker, Blackjack, lottery), invest in the stock market, buy investment shares in the aircraft, become part of the development team, or just do it to meet a whole bunch of other FS pilots who love to fly!http://www.livewireairlines.com
