The flight releases you receive mirror those America West pilots are handed as they prepare for their flights. Flight lines which our pilots select for their assignments represent those flown by America West aircraft. All AWVA operations are created to be compliant with FAR Part 121, the Federal rules that govern commercial carriers in the U.S.AWVA : Less Virtual, More AirlineAWVA was founded in 1999 to provide Virtual Pilots with something lacking in virtual airlines of the time: realism of flight operations. We've built our flights and fleet around America West Airlines. Our primary hub is Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona. We also maintain hubs in Las Vegas, Nevada and Columbus, Ohio. Unlike other VA's, there are no assignments to hubs or advancement through aircraft by rank. Why not? Because that's not how our real-world airline works!
