Old Dominion Air Transport Update.....

Featured Replies

just 19 days left before the Grand Opening! Here is the latest news update......Old Dominion is still accepting pilot applications before the start of business, don't delay, apply today! THere are five (count them, five) aircraft in the hangar going over their final checks and inspections before going into service. a 1927 Pitcairn Mailwing, a Ford TriMotor, a Lockheed Electra 10A, and two Douglas aircraft; DC-3 and a DC-4. THere are currently 50 routes planned out and uploaded, ready to be flown (must get that mail to their destinations on time!), with another 62 routes being planned. Route planning will be an on-going task, I hope to have at least 112 total when the paperwork stops flying off my desk.... Two final aircraft are in the final stages of being primed and painted, details of those forthcoming.... Overall, the final touches are being made, the website is 90% complete, with a forum for pilots and pilots-to-be to chat and boast of their feats of aerial skill and daring. So, come on over and have a look around! Don't be shy, go right up and touch the aircraft, sniff the scents of avgas, oil and rubber (and fresh paint), and take that plunge and join Old Dominion...and please, tell your friends! I look forward to seeing you at the company festivities in less than three weeks! Mark Thomas, Presicent and CEO, Old Dominion Air Transport http://beeker46.tripod.com/odat/
