Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, out comes Miltons dash7. I had heard about it in the making but really didn't pay too much attention to it, I'd been busy with Anttis AS365. So last night I saw Don's post that it was out, I was bored, so I figured "why not" and downloaded it before I went to bed.Well this morning I fired her up and did a couple circuits around my home of KWWD. All I can say is WOW. INCREDIBLE. AMAZING. BEAUTIFUL. AWESOME. It's hard to believe it's only freeware. The dash7 team is to be commended!!! The airplane is a work of art! And talk about STOL! I was in a near panic on finals approaching the threshold and saw that airspeed was at 99knots with no hint of stall. I'm gonna crash! I thought. Nope, greased the landing :)(Must research the real bird)The cockpit is fine with me, I love to look over my left shoulder and see the engines startup!My hats off to the dash7 team. You folks deserve a beer for a job very well done. It's version 1, but so far, I don't see any reason for a version 2. OUTSTANDING!Now if I can get alpha or heather to do a fictional repaint for me, I'd be in heaven :)
