October 24, 200223 yr There's no need for that comment ealvarez. If you read the post in the UPS forum you will see that were all here to have fun. Anyone is allowed to start their own VA. I wish EIA the best of luck and hope to see them in the air. Maybe we will have a VA cargo group flight which would involve all the cargo VA's. That would be cool to see UPS, EIA, DHL, and FedEx in the air at one time.
October 24, 200223 yr what comment? its a flat out question. not disrespecting them. just wanted to know why it looks like an exact copy
October 24, 200223 yr Just for everyone's information here is part of a post from the Chariman at UPSVAC on this matter:---------------------------Hey Everyone, Yes, Louis is starting up a new va. I say, more power to him. He and I have worked out a few details on that said site as a matter of fact. We wish him luck in the new challenge that he is taking on. Let's not forget, as Tom says, it's the pilots that define the va. That is so true Tom! We owe a lot to Louis for the efforts and time he put in here. I do not want to see anyone dishonor him on the board now when he is starting his own va, or, because of some things that are based on or are similar to some things we do in our va. He was a big part of all that we do here and you have to realize, he knows what works and what doesn't. He's halfway there already just from being a part of our va. We wish him well. Also, pilots that want to fly for both. No problem. We are here to have fun. It's a hobby. We don't have to strict of rules cause our founder didn't want them. We don't want to start now. With that being said, I want to encourage everyone to handle their opinions with integrity and professionalism. If you are happy to see them starting something new, then be happy for them, if you are upset, that is fine too, turn it into possitive somehow somewhere here within the va or your hub. Have fun everyone. Don't worry, be happy. Let's hit the air! Don't we have a flyin to prepare for?Duie Olsen UPS001 Chairman of the Board
