hi everyone. i was thinking of starting a cargo based VA and thought id try to find some folks whod be interested in helping. right now im just planning it but already have a domain ready for it to use.this one will be totally virtually based. ive ran two other organizations before, one based on Cubana de Aviacion (a cuban airline) and the other on the civil air patrol (USAF Auxiliary). both were pretty much succesful but with all good things they always come to an end. sadly both were closed by the real organizations. so this time i decided not to risk it again and just create my own.if interested please contact meshould also post my experience.i have worked in a pet supply factory doing shipping, aswell as i am currently a ramp agent at newark liberty international with worldwide flight services.in the virtual world im currently a pilot at America west virtual, UPSVAC, Southwest virtual, virtual US NAVY, and american virtual airlines. hope im not missing any :)ive been in the flightsim community for over 6 years now and have been apart of many VA's including several big succesful ones.

I briefly considered starting my own cargo VA based in Alaska but decided it was more than I wanted to tackle at the time. I may be interested in helping you out, especially if you are considering having a hub in Alaska. Could you post your e-mail address so that I can contact you outside of the forum?

Hey guys, if your set on starting your own VA than I wish you luck but we are always looking for pilots, especially AMC pilots. http://www.vusafs.com/We have NAC, ACC & the AMC flying the cargo wings. The group is pretty active online. I joined a few months ago and it's alot more fun than I expected it to be. If your in the AMC you are allowed to fly other planes as well which I like. The last mission I made was with our C-130's and some helo's.People come up with missions that enclude all 3 groups at once. Our cargo wing consists of KC-135R, C-130, C-5, C-17. I think they are waiting for an updated C-141.You can check our forum under 2002 flights, we post our flights on trade IP so you are always welcome to try us out first. If you do end up signing up, please say that Eagle16 recommended you. We get recruitment points :DHope to see you in the air, if not. Good luck again!

Our main Cargo Operations is out of Boeing Field, WA with destinations throughout the US and HI, utilizing the Boeing 727-200F and Lockheed L-1011 Tristar. We also run cargo ops. out of Anchorage, AK utilizing the Dehavilland Dash 4 Caribou with our Arctic Aviation Services Division.http://regionalpacific.comDave SybiakRegional Pacific Airways

thanks bud. but decided to drop the idea for now. not enough time to devote to it. id hate to get it going then dropping it down the line when its really going, especially when im not the only one working on the project. so its best for now to just stick with the ones im with for now and once i get more time then try to get it goingthanks again and happy new years!Ernesto Alvarez
