June 26, 200322 yr There certainly is an airline called Air Scotland, although it is somewhat worrying that they don't seem to know the difference between a 757 and a DC10??http://www.air-scotland.com/fleet.htmDave Smith - EV0611Eastern Virtual Airlines
June 27, 200322 yr That is worrying, those pictures are new, but old. Air-Scotalnd has a new livery, and that is the old one. A few months ago there was pictures of a DC-10, but yes it is worrying that they don't know the differance between a DC10 and a B757-200Alistair
June 28, 200322 yr YepAir Scotland are in terrible turmoil. They were leasing their aircraft from a greek carrier and had not decided on the exact fleet. When the aircraft did turn up a 752, it was impounded. Not a good start to proceedings.
June 28, 200322 yr Air-Scotland had a bad start, and so is Air-Scotland VA as currently none of our positions have been filled. If oyu are interested in becoming a Hub manager (EGPF, EGPH or EGPD) or a Pilot then please send an E-mail to [email protected]

When the aircraft did turn up a 752, it was impounded.>>Not a good start to proceedings.Close but wrong LiamAir-Scotland.com Started Operations on March 30th (I know this as I was on their inaugural flight to Palma) with Electra airlines of Greece operating 2 757-200's (SX-BVN and SX-BVM) SX-BVN operated the first flight. In April BAA scotland demamded landing fees. It seems a dispute followed between Air-Scotland and Electra airlines as to who should pay the fees. One 757 (SX-BVM) ended up bing impounded in Glasgow Airport. At this point air-Scotland sacked Electra and asked Air-Holland to fly thei schedules, which they are no doing with PH-AHS (in full air Scotland Livery) and PH-AHE (in old Air Holland livery).A bit of a shakey start yes, but they have be overwhelmed with people wanting to fly with them. They received 30 thousand hit on their website in the first 24 hours of it being opend, their phonelines melted down due to some 200 thousand phone calls in 48 hours!I would say, they'll go on to big things! As I hope the VA does!
