August 1, 200322 yr Hi, newbie here returning to MSFS after a stunning 5 year hiatus (last version I had was FS 98 - now I have FS9!).When I was last involved in flight simming, I was a member of a really cool & different VA. Basically, you flew shady flights in a beat-up, unreliable DC-3 - delivering drugs, mostly, as I remember. You had a co-pilot to keep you in line on these missions. You had to follow a strict course or your virtual co-pilot might plug you with a pistol! For example, often you had to keep a low altitude in order to evade radar detection. There was even a "cheat" key where you could punch the co-pilot if he cheesed you off!Does this VA ring a bell with anyone? It was operating in 98-99 nad I'd love to know its name. Does it still exist, by chance? If not, are there any other VA's out there where you fly on the wrong side of the law? Thanks in advance!
August 2, 200322 yr Yes I remember them! They were called "Fly Ace" I think ACE stood for Airline Charter Enterprises. That was a very original idea. I flew for them for a while.. yes I remember being able to hit your copilot lol! remember "Hey ACE! Set nav 1 to 123.3" ??anyway, I don't think they are in business, but the website is still up.. in fact I went there and you can still browse around for nostalgia sake :) I even found my name listed on the roster.. last flight was in 1998!! hehe..there are still faithful players that appear to post on their forum.. and I think the website is automated so it still works.. but I don't think it works with FS2000 or 2002..anyway, if you want to check it out here's the link:http://www.flyace.com/ace.htmHave fun!Jeff
