Virtual Frontier Announces release of RTOS system

Featured Replies

Virtual Frontier Airlines, www.virtualfrontier.org is pleased to announce the release of it's latest version of "RTOS", or Real Time OperationS. This feature is designed to provide our pilots with an additional level of realisim where pilots can log into the RTOS system, and book any one of Frontier Airline's Scheduled flights as either a passenger or pilot. If booking as a pilot, that pilot must fly that flight "in real time", or based on the real world schedule to the best of his ability. The RTOS system tracks the pilot's "virtual location" and updates it based on the progress of the flight he booked. Booking as a passenger allows the pilot to ride the virtual "jump seat" to a city where he may be able to catch an open and available Frontier Airlines flight in the event all open RTOS flights leaving Denver have pilots assigned and booked to them. The latest writing of the RTOS features almost 3,000 flights in the system, which include both the mainline operation and it's Jet Express commuter affiliate.

About Virtual FrontierCurrently in its third year of operations, Denver-based Frontier Airlines is the second largest virtual jet service carrier at Denver International Airport with a fleet of 39 aircraft and employing approximately 100 virtual aviation professionals. Virtual Frontier, in conjunction with Frontier JetExpress operated by Horizon Air, operates routes linking our Denver hub to 37 cities in 22 states spanning the nation from coast-to-coast and to five cities in Mexico. The only virtual airline with a real time operations system that resembles real world operations... Truly a whole different animal!
