Aircrafts for VA

Featured Replies

Hi,i'm new here. Thus sorry for my beginner's mistake in this forum.I have a question about aircrafts for virtual airlines.Where can i get aircrafts for a own va? Could i repaint aircrafts from other or i have to make my own in gmax,...Thanks for your help.Flying Wings

You can get a number of paint-kit aircraft to play around with and paint from places like IFDG - Project Opensky and AVSIM.

You can download paintkits from www.flightsim.com, www.avsim.com, www.surclaro.com and more! First, pick an aircraft you want to paint, and then find the paintkit on one of these sites. Download it, paint it and then you can upload it back onto Avsim or other sites. If your using aircraft from other VA, and working off of their designs, I would definetly seek permission from them first. But, its more of a case by case basis. For example, if you want to paint the word "Virtual" on a FedEx plane, you dont have to ask virtual FedEx...you can just find the plane that is already painted in FedEx livery and put on the word Virtual. BUT --- YOU MUST STILL GIVE CREDIT TO THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR! Whoever you got the plane from, you must credit them. But, if for example your taking...an virtual airlines own livery design, not one based off a real-world livery, then you must seek permission from the airline. Hope that helps! Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, and good luck with painting!

Hi,thanks for your answers. They are very helpfull.ByeFlyingWings
