Hello All, I was just wondering how I could fly on VATSIM without having anyexperience. I use to fly online at MSN Zone but since they quit doing CD-ROM matching I haven't been able to fly online, or rather felt comfortable. I read the requirements to fly online with VATSIM and I am far from being able to do that (mainly because I don't want to be banned or have a bunch of pilots mad at me for not understanding what's going on). I am missing one of the biggest reasons I got into flight simming. I really want to learn, but, can't find anyone to show me the ropes. Is there anyone that would help me out? When it comes to online flight their's nothing that comes close to what you can experience with VATSIM.The first step on the road to VATSIM is to go their main website: http://www.vatsim.net/Then click on NEW PILOTS START HERE then you will be directed here: http://www.vatsim.net/prc/This page is the Pilot Resource Center, in here you'll formally join VATSIM, learn: how to connect to VATSIM, how to set-up the software, how to act on the server, and how to fly & interact with pilots & ATC. We all started here one day & I assure you for most of us it was initially a bit overwhelming but truly the rewards far outnumber the bad things - which I can't name (I just don't know one bad thing about flying on VATSIM).If you need any help please feel free to look me up and I'll gladly help you out.

Jason,Thanks alot, I think after reading your reply I am a bit less weary of trying it out. Like I said, I don't have anyone around here to help me out and I am not real good at learning things unless I have someway of doing it as I read or listen. It's not that I am dumb, just a little wierd about how I am able to learn things.
