Alaska Virtual, www.alaskavirtual.aero, is a virtual airline based on the real Alaska Airlines with the full knowlege of its real world counterpart. Alaska Virtual was founded a year ago by a group of pilots looking for a professionally run Alaska virtual airline. Without success of finding one, they decided to start their own.Alaska Virtual is based on operations of the real Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, and Era Aviation. We provide a variety of tools to make the pilot's time at Alaska professional, enjoyable, and above all fun. These tools include an automated PIREP system which is FSPassengers supported, a fully automated website, an easy to use flight search function, a convenient pilot center that provides tons of information, and professional and active forums. We also provide a FS9 supported fleet and training programs for our pilots that are just starting out. Alaska Virtual is also one of the few virtual airlines that have a real Alaska pilot that browses the forums, answering any question you could possibly have about real world aviation.We strive to make every pilot's experience as enjoyable as it can be.
