July 25, 200718 yr Commercial Member DALLAS, Texas (CNN) -- Amidst balloons and confetti, the management of Virtual American Airlines (www.virtualaa.com) opens its doors to all new pilots who wish to join their ranks. Regards, Efrain RuizLiveDISPATCH @ http://www.livedispatch.org (CLOSED) ☹️
July 27, 200718 yr VAA is rigged, they banned me for no reason and i followed all the rules, i emailed them many times and no will respond. plus there exam is also rigged so no one can pass. i mean US education law says 65 is passing not 80. so now i'm taking legal action against those fools, people like that should not be on the internet.
July 27, 200718 yr LEGAL ACTION against a VA???? Who are you going to hire, a Virtual Lawyer! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA You kill me, Paolo. Grow up kid.
July 29, 200718 yr it's a website, the FBI will shut down any site that discriminates, and i was discriminated against for no reason. i mean who blocks someone fr no reason!?! and KID? what is that supposed to mean.
July 29, 200718 yr "... and KID? what isthat supposed to mean."I can't speak for the author, but as a casual reader, your comments seem VERY childish to me.Are you upset because you didn't pass the entrance exam (80%)? If that is the case, you have NOT been discriminated against. You simply did not meet the standard they have for admission to the VA."there exam is also rigged so no one can pass."If you are looking for any support, you'll need to offer evidence of this. "...i mean US education law says 65 is passing not 80..."Are you seriously suggesting that 65% should be the standard for everything? If you needed a lawyer or a surgeon, would you be satisfied with one that only scored 65 (a poor performance score, whether or not it satisfies the minimum requirements)? What if you were flying on a real jetliner? Would you want a real-world pilot who could only muster a 65%?I can tell you that I have joined several VA's (I don't belong to Virtual AA, although I'm considering it). If you have already figured out how to fly the type(s) of aircraft in the fleet, and read the VA's handbook, scoring 80+ is easy. And if I recall correctly, there are checkrides at this one. If you are having trouble passing the entrance exam, you'll probably be more frustrated passing them. Why not join a different VA (even a different American Airlines one) that is more toward your liking and orientation? The first VA I joined was one with no entrance test and very few requirements. It allowed to build up my experience, and then as time went on, I was easily able to join any VA I was interested in.Finally:"so now i'm taking legal action against those fools, people like that should not be on the internet." "...the FBI will shut down any site that discriminates..."No one will take these comments seriously.I hope you find enjoyment with your simming and your quest for a suitable VA.
July 30, 200718 yr ok i joined months a ago, then they deleted me even thought i was a active forum poster and flyer.
July 31, 200718 yr I applaud the 80% pass mark of the entrance exam, though as a British pilot, it is proving to be a pain to pass, due to american legistations.
August 1, 200718 yr What I meant was, I'm sure some explanation was given, although you may not agree with it.
