Canadian Airlines Virtual wants YOU!

http://www.flycav.com/SN/CAV_Ad.pngTo all interested pilots,Canadian Airlines Virtual is the result of over two years of development, aimed at providing a fun experience for flight simmers looking for a quality virtual airline in a Canadian setting. Conceived as a resurgence of the late great Canadian Airlines, Canadian Airlines Virtual (CAV) operates as a major domestic and international airline in Canada. It faces stiff competition from Air Canada and Westjet, and an almost empty bank account due to the 1999 bankruptcy adds to the difficulty of 'the Goose' continuing to operate.Through extensive programming and development, the staff and founding members behind CAV have created an expansive online financial tracking system, that monitors every flight carried out by the airline every day, and calculates revenue based upon seasonal load factors. CAV pilots add to the revenue stream, as all flights carried out by actual pilots add to the virtual airline's bank account. In addition to "being part of the team", all CAV pilots may use the new CanadianACARS system, a custom application that monitors all aspects of the flight, and automatically files flight reports upon completion of flights. Pilots no longer have to track fuel burn, time enroute, etc. (However, manual pirep submitting is still availible for those pilots not wishing to use the ACARS system). Our ACARS system also integrates with Google Maps and provides real time flight tracking capabilities.http://www.flycav.com/SN/cavacarspreview/acars2.pngRead more about CanadianACARS here: http://www.flycav.com/cdn/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=239CAV operates a modern online booking/bidding system, complete with a fully searchable route library. The system is functional, and is continuing in development, with new features added monthly. The Online management allows pilots to be assigned special flights in addition to the standard route schedule flights. Charters, positioning flights, and aircraft deliveries can all be requested by pilots. Generally these flights are credited at double hours for pilots wishing to accept them.If you are interested in flying domestically and internationally with a professional and dedicated virtual airline, we hope that you'll check us out at http://www.flycav.comWe are currently accepting applications for pilots and managerial positions. Pilots with previous experience in VAs, (with proof, preferably VATSIM hours) will be credited for those hours at CAV rates and will be issued type ratings in accordance with our written policy. Please note: Staff/Managerial Positions are evaluated by the CAV Board of Directors, and we prefer to "hire from within our own ranks" so to speak. It is recommended that pilots have at a minimum six months membership in CAV as well as an active flight log before applying for these positions. We hope to see you flying with us in the future!Public Relations/MarketingCanadian Airlines Virtualhttp://www.flycav.comDisclaimer: Canadian Airlines Virtual is a virtual airline organization created to simulate airline operations in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
