Problem with Whazzup

For some unusual reason I can not get the program to run on my second computer. I normally run the program from my laptop using WinXP Home with no problems. I installed it on my desktop with WinXP Pro and when I click to start it it "hangs" at the splash screen and goes no further. If I click ctrl-alt-del the task manager still shows running. After about 30 minutes I get the same message..still running but its hung at the splash screen.I emailed Enrico last week but didn't get a response.Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations to fix this. I'm using the latest download from the website.Thanks
