Hi folks,In a previous thread on eye strain someone mentioned that setting the monitor refresh rate under the display properties in Windows XP does not affect the refresh rate for 3D games that run in full screen mode.If this is the case, how would you set the refresh rate for 3D games?Thanks,

It's possible to download a refresh rate fix programme for nVidia cards (not sure about ATI ?) in which you can set your refresh rates for OpenGL and DirectX games.Here is a link to a source for the programme. The nVidia programme I use is called NVRefreshTool. (nvrt20.exe) but there are many others on this site:http://www.guru3d.com/files/Cheers,Simon.
