Where to get default cloud textures

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where I can get the default cloud textures.. I want them back but I dont want to reinstalll flightsim

On disc 1 of your original install disks youll find several ZIP files. You can find the textures in one of them, not sure which one right now. Just unzip into the correct directory (listed in the zip file). That should do it. A few weeks ago I inadvertantly overwrote the GPS .gau file with the one from FS2000 and was able to copy it back in via the above method.AAL109Mark

cool thanks.. ill check it out now

Too late to do this with your clouds, but here's soemthing I've done.I've created a folder by the name of 'Backup FS2k2 Files' on my C drive. Whenever I install new stars (the ones in the sky of course :-) ), clouds, moon, etc., I simply place the original FS2k2 files into the backup folder I've created. This comes in really handy of something goes wrong. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 40.41 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298
