New Texture for Mike's Goose

Featured Replies

Hi Simmers,I have done another FREE Goose texture - this one is for my friends over at Richmond Air - this one is intended to look very old and worn but much loved as the paint scheme is faded with all of the polishing over the years.http://www.gjsmith.com/images/goose-richmond-4.jpgShe is available FREE for your flying pleasure at:http://www.gjsmith.com/textures/goose.htmAlso lots and lots of other free textures available at:http://www.gjsmith.com/textures/by-type.htmHappy SimmingGarry J. Thanks Garry, really nice looking textures, your Richmond Air was #30 to go into my Goose folder!!if I keep this up I can get rid of most of the other planes I have. When is your Navy version going to be released?Do you plan on doing your magic on the Mallard that's out? http://www.enter.net/photoalbum/data/reddog/631785.jpgSceenshots and Pics athttp://comunity.webshots.com/user/reddog18951USMC Retired

HI Reddog,Glad you like her - Number 30 only :-)Have not had a chance to finish off my Navy version yet - still not happy with the blue - revisit it almost every day and tinker but just not yet happy with it.Mallard? - Sorry I have not been paying attention to what is being released lately - were is the Mallard? - is it GMAX? - if it is then I will certainly have a tinker at least. I try to have a tinker with every gmax one that is released - some are good fun to play with and others are very difficult but they are all interesting.Regards and happy simmingGarry J. Garry the Mallard is here at Avsim, was put out a few weeks ago by gazzareth. A really nice plane and I'm pretty sure it is GMax, only one repaint for it so far by Heather for BFU. his site is http://fsproject.users.btopenworld.com if you want more info on it. He's working on the turboprop version now.http://www.enter.net/photoalbum/data/reddog/631785.jpgSceenshots and Pics athttp://comunity.webshots.com/user/reddog18951USMC Retired

Okay and hope you have good luck with it. If so i would like to see something in a south seas scheme, have no idea what they look like but did see in the airline cfg file that Air Tahiti is listed. Again have no idea what scheme they use.http://www.enter.net/photoalbum/data/reddog/631785.jpgSceenshots and Pics athttp://comunity.webshots.com/user/reddog18951USMC Retired

Hi again Reddog,Well I have had a quick tinker with the Mallard - an imaginary livery "Bush King" just to see what she would come up likehttp://www.gjsmith.com/images/Mallard-Bush-2.jpgTwo more screen shot are available at:http://www.gjsmith.com/textures/goose.htmHave sent an e-mail to Gary Davies to request his permission to publish the texture and if/when I receive it then I will release or delete the texture depending on his response. If Gary accepts me doing textures for his Mallard then I will create an appropriate page and see what other textures I can achieve.Happy SimmingGarry J.
