Airfile Question

Recommended Posts

Guest BMarcoux

I got the New GMAX 737-400 today and I've got my Dreamfleet panel and sounds working in it. If I want to have the Dreamfleet flight dynamics with it do I just copy the .ait file to my new plane?? Anything else I need to move? Thanks-

Most newer releases build flight dynamics via a combination of aircraft.cfg and .air file entries.Your best bet would be to backup the existing aircraft.cfg and .air file.Copy Dreamfleet's into the GMAX 737's folder.Edit the aircraft.cfg to give the aircraft a unique description, name, and ATC ID. You may also have to clear the text after model=, panel=, and texture= if there is any.I've done this with several aircraft... If you make a mistake, it's easily fixed.Good luck!-John
