keycommand to use Comm2 vs Comm1???

Featured Replies

I had a few micro toggle switches around and decided to make an intercom panel for my homecockpit. It's easy to get the ident switches working (they already have keycommands in FS). I can't find a way, though, to switch between Comm1 and Comm2. Does anyone know the extended command to add to the cfg file to make this happen? The swap command only switches between Comm1 and the standby freq. Thanks!David

Hi David,Try using Pete Dowson's FSUIPC: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html The latest release, 2.90, has a new feature that allows you to assign key commands to MSFS. Not sure if there is a command for the toggle, but many commands are included. I just used it to assign joystick buttons for ATC use. This was easy since the joystick buttons are momentary. I also wanted to use a stripped down joystick to control the parking brake and gear lever. I soldered two constant on switchs to two different joystick button. FSUIPC has a second option that works with constant on commands. Initially, I tried using the momentary joystick button option with the constant on switches. This caused all types of problems. When I used the other option, everything worked. Many thanks to Pete for this added feature.Sort of difficult to explain, but if you look at the Button tab, you'll see what I'm trying to explain.
