September 22, 200223 yr Hi All,I was wonder if anyone could help me out with something...A while go when I was suffering from severe boredome I decided to do a flight at a random airport somewhere just for the fun of it. I selected canada and picked an airport in the N.Ts. When the scenery was done loading I found a nice surprise...There where auroras! But it really didnt matter to me than so I just flew around. Now im looking for them again and am having a hard time. I was wondering if anyone else has seen them too and where I can find them? Thanks for the help!
September 22, 200223 yr The northeast section of Canada is a 'hot place' to find them. I found myself spotting them a lot when I flew EGLL-KLAX a few times last winter in FS2k2. I recommend looking for them around 9-10PM local and during the fall/winter months.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 29.42 WHQL Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298

September 23, 200223 yr Flying from Northeastern Canada to Greenland there was a nice display of the auroras.
October 12, 200223 yr Sure enough, I just flew a night flight from Helsinki to Oulu (Finnair 3431 in the A319), and there they were. First time *I* caught a glimpse of them. Very nice effect.:-beerchugSomone pour the Karjala, please...
