September 27, 200223 yr Recently after doing a few tweaks using rivatuner my groung textures are bad quality, i have a gf4 ti4600. what are the idea settings using tweaking programs?? and what are the best drivers i have 40.41 ones. i often see excellent quality screens on worst gpus than mine. thank you :-walksmilealso is fs2002 opengl or the other one, cheers :-beerchug
September 27, 200223 yr I believe FS2002 uses Direct3D which runs on Microsoft's DirectX code (I think?).As for the ground textures, you haven't done any driver upgrades for your card have you? I have seen folks (and have seen myself) get horribly blocky ground textures when they don't uninstall old drivers before upgrading to new ones. Make sure you uninstall the old Nvidia drivers (via add/remove programs) before you install the new ones.Something to check anyways as I ran into this on my Ti4200.
September 28, 200223 yr What tweaks did you do in Rivatuner to make the ground textures go blurry?Ryan-Flightpro08 :-coolVATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 29.42 WHQL Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298
