Whatis the function of the indicator on top of the left glare shield?

I was going to ask the very same question. The needle seems to flick from one side to the other or just to the middle and I can't fathom it out. Would be interested to know.By the way, it's a fanastic plane isn't it?Colin

The info can be found in the Dash 7 panel folder in FS2002.The gauge is supposed to be a fast/slow gauge, but only reacts to angle of attack (AOA)in this version of the panel.CF-AOA
