October 16, 200223 yr ...anybody using this for their flight sim? At the moment I have got 3 video cards in my set up to have a 3 monitor display. (Geforce3 AGP and 2 PCI cards).I'm just wondering whether anybody has had any problems in using a mutiple display set-up with nView for the Geforce 4?Views appreciated. Thanks,Darren
October 16, 200223 yr No problems here. I use a G4 Ti4200 128mb and have a 19" and 17" monitor running just dandy. Use the second monitor for aux. panels (throttle, radio, GPS etc) only...no 3D work. No framerate hit doing this as far as I can tell.
October 16, 200223 yr I used to run two monitors on my GF4 Ti4600 (primary on the VGA port, and secondary on my DVI port with a DVI-to-VGA adapter.) Always worked great with FS2k2. I recently got a third computer, so I had to give up my secondary monitor. Hoping to get a second on for this system for Christmas. :-)Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Controller 1 (C-1)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com]Taxiwaysigns.com Scenery Designerhttp://members.cox.net/santracon/images/san_logo.jpg-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 30.30 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298
October 17, 200223 yr Hi DarrenMy setup comprises: projector to a 4'x 3' screen and two 19" TFT monitors. My card is a Ti4600 128MB and I use its multi display facility to put the scenery on the screen and the panel on one of the monitors. Using WideView I put FSNavigator on the other monitor which is driven by my 2nd PC.It all works just greatFrank
