projectai and mytraffic

Featured Replies

I will be purchasing mytraffic Friday and have all of the project ai downloads. I have not installed projectai yet and am wondering if they can work together. I see in another post that myflight uses pai aircraft so I am not sure if the schedules would conflict.

Hi,It seams that My Traffic uses its own AI engine. I tried to decompile the traffic and aircraft, but I only got the FS2002 default aircraft/Flightplans shown in the TXT files. :-hmmm And the routes in My Traffic has a different format than the default format. But when My Traffic Editor is released, you can easily import and edit your own aircraft/routes.Staffan AhlbergFreeware Flight Group

Hi Stephan, So do you think that I should just keep all of the PAI stuff zipped up until the editor comes out. Right now I can't figure out how to add all of those extra gates that the real talents otu there are putting on avsim. I got the utlities AFCAD and such but my attemps to import have failed.

Hi,I think it is ok if you use the PAI stuff until you get the My Traffic and the Editor.Since the My Traffic program uses its own engine, there will be no harm in keeping the PAI stuff. Even better, since you can use PAI aircraft in My Traffic with the Editor. My Traffic is a great program. It saves hours and hours of tweaking the traffic to the right areas/countries. ;-)Staffan
