I just came across these screenshots from the final release version of CFS3. They show improvements--the airfields appear firmer, and the terrain isn't nearly as dark as in many of the earlier screenshots I've seen.http://sim.pcarena.com/reviews/cfs3/screens1/

Keep in mind it's really hard to judge a game from screenshots. I have yet to find a screenshot that looks as good as the game it came from. Things tend to look so much more real when in motion.

Screenshots on some sites look better than others. Its unfair to criticise the graphics yet, remember they have been resized and reduced in quality.

Considering the genre of CFS3--air combat, that shot is perfect... I've flown over Western Europe many times, and it's rare that the ground is even that sharp....
