This is probably a real stupid question. I have reinstalled fs2k and forgotten how to start the sim with the engines always off. Help please before they send me to home for the aged.Thanks

I believe there is an option under Realism somewhere that allows you to choose a realistic startup procedure. I can't check exactly where it is located since my program currently isn't working correctly, but I know it's in there someplace! :-hmmm-Lindy :-wave

Thanks Lindy, that was the first place I looked. I'm afraid that it has to be done during the initial install or maybe it's in a config file for each a/c.

There was never an option to start all flights with the engines off. However, if you park, and turn off the engines, then save the flight as default... every flight that you make, having loaded the 'engines-off' flight, will start with engines off.
