I was wondering if you can make a flight route and continue to stay at your current position. Say if I wanted to do a flight from KBOS to KATL and then continue onto KSNA, I would like to remain at the same gate and not have move my plane until I am ready to depart. Is there any option to do this?

I assume here you are referring to the annoying habit that Flight Simulator's flight planner has when it "relocates" you every very time you plan a flight? If so, you can (and should) download FSUIPC from www.schiratti.com/dowson.html and install it. It provides a fix for this problem along with supplying you a whole host of customizations, fixes, and tweaks for FS. Many of your popular add-ons for FS rely on this product - so its good to have it installed.

Hi Kurt, Yes you can. The latest versions of FSUIPC have an option under the technical tab marked "no reposition on GPS plan load". If you tick this box then when you enter a new flight plan , you will not be moved from your current location. eg, you create a flight plan from KBOS to KATL, fly the route, land and taxi to the gate at KATL, then when you create the next flight plan from KATL to KSNA you will start from the gate you parked at. Hope this helps, Steve

I'll try that. I do have the newest fsuipc installed into flightsim so I will enable that and see what happens. Thanks for your help.
