Autothrottle spikes in FS2k2 Pro

Featured Replies

Aloha. I'm running FS2k2 Pro on Windows XP HE and I am experiencing autothrottle spikes during turns. When turning right, the a/t drops way down and when turning left, it goes way up, most of the time kicking in the overspeed warning as the speed climbs above the restriction. This ONLY seems to happen on imported 3rd party aircraft and not on the defaults. Anyone have any clues? Mahalo!-Rick

do you have a logitech wingman extreme pro?. thats what i have and had the same problem. i emaild logitech and they told me to download the latest drivers for the stick and if it still does that then move the connection to the USB port. getting the new drivers didnt solve it but you should anyway.what fixed it was when i moved it to the usb port. the problem was that my cable modem was conflicting with the standard game port on the PC. so they were fighting over the use of the ports.once i switched over it pretty much stopped. it still does it with the hat and rudder controls so i disabled those controls on FS and use the keyboard for rudder control. not sure what the problem is with those two but some people told me after a wingman stick gets old or used up it starts going nuts.anyway. try moving it to a different port and see what happens
