Hi,Should the default Cessna 172SP (with Ron F's improvement) attitude indicator (AI) pitch indicator show something other than zero while on the ground (and level)? It always comes up showing about 5 degrees up. Am I messing things up by adjusting it to zero while on the ground (pre-taxi)?Thanks,Robert Tiffany

Go ahead and set it to zero before takeoff, when sitting still or taxiing. Just make sure to check it again during the pre-takeoff checklist. When this particular aircraft is set to zero on the ground, it will again zero out in level flight. Get some altitude and use the auto-pilot to maintain level flight, and you'll see.L.Adamson
