November 6, 200223 yr Hi I am getting into this sim once again and my question is, are thereany good "payware" goodies at the local software stores, like CompUSA, Babbages, EB ? What I am looking for is just about anything that goes with this :)in particular, planes (all types) scenery or is my best bet just DL them from here ?Thanks Guys/Gals S.J.
November 6, 200223 yr Most payware sales are through the manufacturer/author's website, with delivrey through a download (most common) or through a CD in the mail. There are some add-ons that get published in boxes and sold in software stores. but most add-ons are ONLY available on the internet. If you are looking to burn some cash, try payware sites like:http://phoenix-simulation.co.ukhttp://alphasim.co.ukhttp://justflight.comhttp://www.flight1.comhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com...Just to name a few of the top publishers/developers.
November 6, 200223 yr Thanks dchapman I'll give these sites a good look through also I am trying to decide on which MESH format to use, decisions, decisions... SJ
November 6, 200223 yr One good mesh site is FSGenesis, Justin Tyme's website. He has both freeware and payware mesh which is considered quite good. There are others I know, but that's the one that popped into my head. :D-Lindy :-wave
November 6, 200223 yr Hey Thanks guys, I'm gonna DL the Piper Archer-II from DreamFLEET-2000 here it is if you want to take a lookie :)http://www.dreamfleet2000.com/Previews/Arc...cher_intro.html I'm starting off with the smaller aircrafts so I can really enjoy my MESH scenery when I get it :-bluegrab :-bluegrab
November 6, 200223 yr You also might want to give the Cardinal a close look. It's not mentioned on Dreamfleet's site, but in their support forum, they've announced that they will offer an RG upgrade free to registered users. 2 aircraft for the price of 1--a price worth paying any way you look at it!-John
