Instant Replay - Random Error

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,In the last year or so, I have received errors two times in FS when trying to activate the "Instant Replay" function. The good news is that it has only happened two times in all the flights that I have made, but I can't find any consistacy as of yet (basically because it hasn't happened enough). The symptoms are that after landing, I taxi off the runway and hold. I then go to the menu, and choose "Instant Replay." The screen will then freeze for about 4-5 seconds, and then the wonderful "windows has encountered an error" message comes up. I choose not to send it to MS, and FS will reboot and come back up. This has happned with default aircraft and non-default so far, as well as at two different airports. I'm using FSUIPC 2.92.My specs:- Win XP Pro- Nvidia GForce 4 Ti4600 (30.82 drivers)- 512mb RAM- Intel P4 2.0.I think it's just a bug in FS, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and figured out what it may be.Thanks in advance,JD

How long were these two flights and how much are you asking it to play back? If they were loooooong flights, perhaps the file size choked your computer ? Just a thought.Calhover long and prosper

The first time it happened I had a 2 hour flight, this last one was only a 30 minute flight. I only asked for 500 seconds. Thanks
