How many aircraft can we put in to FS 2002

How many aircraft can we put in to FS 2002?

Currently have 832 aircraft installed. Mostly PAI repaints..

As many as you like .. as their choice is discretionary. I have well over 2,000 which is why many reside in FS2002/HANGAR! Scenery is a different story, as FS2002 can't handle the SCENERY.CFG file over a certain level ... I think it's 332 layers. That's where mine fell over, anyway. After much consolidation, I now have about 500 individual sceneries loaded but under the requisite layer number.Do I use them all? Well, I test everything and pick favourites. But I often dive into the archives, so nothing is wasted.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitak.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/reds.htmlhttp://www.swiremariners.com/cxkaitakv3.jpg

I dont think theres any limit, even as far as FS98 I had almost near 200 planes (FS98 planes didnt guzzle down fps or HD that much). Although FS2002 already takes a good bit of HD real estate, I still got near 2GB worth of just planes (I only got around 75 or so, but 75 unique sounds and panels really add up)! I gotta have full packages of planes though, I must get the full experience LOL.

Of course there's a limit... The limit is when your computer crashes trying to load the 288,901 aircraft into the aircraft selection menu :-lolKitty MercuryCathay Pacific Virtual Pilot (CX252)
