November 7, 200223 yr jerrycwo4Thanks to all for the info on the beaver ( old Fs2000 "3-pack"). I finally got them installed in Fs2002 but the strangest thing happened for awhile, when I would fly the "FLOAT" model and switch from the 'spot' to the 'cotpit' view, the sound would stop and the motor would shut off???? I rebooted my computer and then it started acting normal. Just made a great flight from PALR to PAGB. Dave Erickson has just updated about 50 airfields in Alaska. You can find the new updates in the AVSIM Library. Look in search for: Fs2002 /Scenery under "Dave Erickson". The file is "Alaskan Commuter #9". ( I made the inclosed map for him).jerry
November 7, 200223 yr I think the fuel selector defaults to off, thereby shutting off the engine as there's no source. For some reason, when you switch views, then back to the panel, the selector goes to the off position. If I recall correctly, you need to have autofuel mixture option off (in the realism settings). Then make sure you have the fuel selector set on one of the 3 tanks (front, center, or rear - depending on fuel load). Dave
