I don't think I've ever seen them. Clouds aren't really "objects" (in a 3D-sense) in FS - just planer textures that are rotated with respect to the camera position (billboards), so it's unlikely there is any shadow casting logic to be had here.J

Some of the screen shots from CFS3 make it appear as if cloud "shaddows" are now featured. This may be a misperception on my part as I'm not a CFS expert...
