747 Sound File Recommendation

Featured Replies

G'Day!Just thought I would point out a discovery for the rest of you sound connosieurs.I don't fly the heavy metal much but my recent repaint of the MelJet 747 gave me more exposure to it than ever before. Of course, I always want the best aircraft package I can put together, between airplane, panel and sounds.I had been using the 747 sound file by Clive Marriott, zip file 7_4002k2.zip downloaded here from the AVSIM library. However, if you want something that just sounds "HEAVIER" you really must try out the sound pak for the Boeing C-17 by Aaron R. Swindle.I have definitely put it over with my 747. Just makes her sound bigger and badder!!Unfortunately, you can't download it here. Here are the specs and source:Boeing C17 Globemaster III SoundName: c17snz.zip Size: 4,997,824 Date: 12-10-2001 Downloads: 5441 FS2002 Boeing C17 Globemaster III Sound Package. Compiled and developed for Owen Hewitt's C17. Contains actual interior sounds recorded from a C17 in flight. Original engine sounds inside and out. All files are watermarked and encoded for I.D. Auto installer included. By Aaron R. Swindle (Skysong Soundworks).http://www.flightsim.comCheers!Heather
