November 11, 200223 yr I am about to get abacus's new FSDS2 and build a edge540T specificly for FS2002 I am going to go on the edge540 site and get all the information on it and it will have a smoke system including red wingtip smoke not the bulky kind but the smooth slinder kind I am also going to build many other aircraft I can and will build one from any specifications I get you guys pick the type of the aircraft and I will set out to build it
November 11, 200223 yr I'm also thinking along the lines of buying this product also. I haven't been working on Gmax recently due to real flight revision, but my main concern about this FSDS2 is will it work with FS2004 - in both aspects of scenery and aircraft design?I've heard from a few users of the previous version that the FSDS program is less complicated and easier to work with than gmax.CheersWill
November 12, 200223 yr That is what I am woundering to if it will work with FS2004 Will keep me updated on the new flight simulator 2004 when will it be out next year?

November 12, 200223 yr Will,I have been a long time FSDS user, and I am also familiar with the Microsoft SDK's.I know for a fact that the new FSDS V2 uses the floating-point OP Codes that are supported in FS2002 (previous versions do not). The FS2002 SDK's state that only models created with the floating-point opcodes will be supported in future FS versions. If Microsoft sticks to the printed word, then models created with FSDS V2 will be supported in FS2004. Cheers,Allen
