Instructor panel installation

I went for the LAS instructor panel today because some of the CFIs from my club were going to come over and see the sim. I can't comment on the program because I haven't seen it yet. All I can say is it is the most twisted registration policy I have seen to date. There is a download version so I went that route for the instant gratificatio ;-). Payment is through Paypal, which is kind of clunky. Then you get an e-mail from the company with a link to a website from which you download it. So far so good I guess. But when you install it it asks for the registration number. Back to the e-mail but no mention of it. Read the directions and found I had to copy the MIP and Site numbers from the registration and submit them by e-mail back to the company. Huh? OK, did it but here I sit waiting, I suppose, for someone to check their e-mail and get around to sending me a password. I sure hope the program code is more efficient than the registration process!David
