November 11, 200223 yr I did a quick business trip from KMSP to KPHX last week through KDEN. I was on United and I listened to the onboard ATC channel all the way. I am really intrigued by the flow of traffic that the approach controllers handle. Can anyone point me to a website where I can read a little bit about and see some pictures of the display the approach controllers are looking at as they vector a/c in to the airport? Thanks!!!!
November 11, 200223 yr I think somebody posted this link here a few weeks ago, or maybe I got it off rec.aviation.student, can't remember. Anyways, it shows (mostly) realtime traffic around La Guardia airport.http://www4.passur.com/lga.htmlThe historical data works properly as well. I was able to track a flight I made from KMMU to the top of the Hudson River corridor (a VFR corridor below the Class B that GA aircraft can fly down without talking to ATC), down past the city, and back again, overflying KEWR on the way (I had to talk to EWR tower to manage that one though, but they were very accomodating).
