November 12, 200223 yr I have the GeForce TI4200 and Windows XP. In FS2002 the primary screen displays scenery very fast. But when I open a new scenery window, undock and move to the second monitor, the speed of displaying that window drops to a crawl (about 3fps). Is it possible to get fast scenery speed on the second monitor? Thanks, Tom
November 12, 200223 yr no you cannot get any faster, what you need is two computersall you can use your second monitor for is to perhaps "undock" the map view, the throttle quadrant or the overhead panel, you will get very slow frame rates if you use the other monitor for say a wing view or something like that
November 12, 200223 yr Tom,If you want to different views in FS2K2, then checkpoint is correct, you will need a second computer. You then need to create a local network between these computers and get the freeware utility WidevieW. You can learn more about this by looking at the link below. One warning - while this adds a whole new dimension to the sim, it can get really expensive in a hurry. But once you've been to the other side, there's no turning back.http://www.wideview.it/
November 12, 200223 yr I use the second monitor for FMC's, FSNav, etc... You can't use it for 3D scenery.
