Is it possible to make the runway and taxiways black at night? Allowing only the taxi and landing lights to light them up? If so then flying at night would be so much more real. If not then I hope the guys at MS read this and consider it. Kilstorm

Try turning down your monitor brightness. I think that is the only thing will do it. I actually did a flight last night in the FSD Seneca and the one thing I don't like in general is that the panels are always too bright at night in most aircraft. I adjusted my contrast and brightness and actually made it look very cool and much more realistic. Even made it dark outside for a change!

Turn brightness down untill the sky is pitchblack, then turn contrast all the way up (max).
