Featured Replies

Hi!I have just upgraded my machine with a GF 4 Ti 4200 64MB.Sometimes I get funny patterns, like black streaks across thescreen, especially with 3rd party scenery addons.Does anyone know what could be wrong.I have the newest drivers and, to my knowledge, everything is properlyinstalled. Direct X 8.1.Happy for tips and comments. Thanks!Hans HermanssonSweden

Hi Hans,I have just upgraded to a Geforce 4 Ti 4600, 2100 AMD XP with hopefully no problem,s so far!Hans, make sure you have the drivers 29.41 or 29.42, it sounds as if you are using the earlier drivers 27.go to www.Nvidia.com / wwww.geforce.comThe problems you are reporting where typical of the 37 driver range.I had exactly the same problem until I chnaged to 29.42 earlier this week.Best Wishes,ChrisEGBB

Hello Chris!and thanks for taking the time to reply.I had to reinstall my Windows 98 and get new drivers. In fact I got the newest 29.80, which are very good.Since I installed them there has been no problem.I can recommend those drivers. At " VooDoofiles", among others.Hans HermanssonSweden
