August 8, 200223 yr Hello ,I am looking for some advice on a problem I have run into.I have a abit th72-raid motherboard with pc800 rdram. I upgraded the cpu from an intel p4 1.8 to a intel p4 2.2. According to the bios settings the motherboard "should" be able to handle the new cpu.I also have upgraded the bios from the abit web site. I have a gforce 4 ti 4600 video card in this system. The system ran fine no problems at all with the 1.8 processor. With the new 2.2 processor, flight simulator crashes after about 5minutes, quick blue screen of death then the system reboots. Maybe I am missing a bios setting?I suspect though that despite what the abit manual says, the pc800rdram is not fast enough for the p2.2. I am guessing that next payday I will have to get a new motherboard and new memory, say of the pc2600 sort. Any ideas?thanks,Matt :-grr
