Hey All, Over the past few days my boot up time has increased from a respectable 30 secs to over 3.5 minutes for no aparent reason!!!! I have in an attempt to correct:- looked at the device manager to find tht all devices are ok! Run Defragmenter Run Power booster (Tweeker program!) Done a system restore to before the problem to no avail! I have only been playing with the video drivers and project ai over the past month. I had a seris of lock ups with the vid driver therefore have reverted back to one ones on the Win XP database. I have all the project ai autoinstallers currently available Can anyone help me please? I used RegClean (find.pcworld.com/21382) and noticed a big improvement in my startup time - unfortunately, it doesn't work with XP. Norton Systemsworks may do the trick. One other suggestion is to go to the startup file, make a copy, then eliminate the miscellaneous background programs one by one until you find the culprit.Dale
