November 28, 200223 yr Hello, all.First post here on Avsim, never really checked out the forums at all, but glad I have now :)I'm about to get a Microsoft Force Feeback 2 to replace my (totally unsuitable & malfunctioning) Logitech Wingman Extreme stick. I'm looking forward to more precision, but also licking my lips at the prospect of the FF giving me a better sensation of realism when taxiing & landing etc.I've only briefly tried the MSFF2 stick on a friends machine, but never got time to get the feel of it. Does the feedback function provide gentle resistance when pulling back on the stick, or is it more of a "rumble pack" effect (does any of this make sense? ;) )I've flown MSFS for several years, although I would not consider myself a competent sim pilot. I'm hoping that the new stick will give me more control and sensation to improve my flying, but I'm concerned that I'm wasting my money on an effect which is more suited to games than simming (although I enjoy a good blast of Comanche 4 and CFS too :) )All views are welcomed.
