ATI Radeon 9000Pro problems!!!!!!!!!!!

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,Hopefully some of you can help me, but I recently baught an ATI 9000PRO 128mg card, and my average frame rate is 15fps. Now I use to have a Geforce 2 32mg card, and that one ran about 12fps. So, I think there is somewhat a problem here. THe resulution in windows and FS2002 is the same, so anyone got any Ideas at all? Im open to anything! My system specs are: - AMD 1.2Ghz - Windows XP - ATI Radeon 9000Pro (latest ATI drivers) - 512mb of ramHope to hear from someone soon, thanks in advance to everyone for their advice.Nick Rockbrune

Download latest drivers from ati.com (6218). Try lowering AA and Ansio from control panel. And most important, download detonator destroyer (google search or guru3d.com), run it, unistall card from control panel, load generic vga card, reboot, then install ati drivers. Traces of the geforce drivers are known to affect ati cards, so you have to get rid of them thoroughly.Good luck

You might think about upgrading that processor. Your system is CPU bound and you won't see the true power of the 9700 until you do.
