Gigabyte GA7VRXP

Does anyone know the hidden key command that allows access to the extend bios setup for this mobo? Last month I followed a link in the FS2K2 forum to a hardware forum where I learned you can access a hidden bios screen to further adjust some memory and other parameters. I lost this setup page when I flashed my bios recently and I have searched the FS forum for this link but I can't seem to find it.

The only key command I use to access the bios on my Gigabyte board is when the computer is booting up, I press the "Delete" key until the bios pages appear.Terry

Same here to enter bios setup but on the chip settings page within bios setup there was a hidden key that would access an advanced settings area. I can't remember what it was and now I can't find the thread on the topic. It started with a guy who posted about compatibility problems he was having with version 1 of this board and his G4 card.

I was just about to ask if anyone had any recommendations concerning this board. How do you like it? How about the GA7VA? Is it a board I can be happy with over the course of this year? Tufshop's got a sale on the 7VA, 80 bucks. A good buy? Putting an AMD 2400 XP in it.Thanks,Lobaeux

I've been pleased with it. I normally use Asus boards but both Tom's Hardware and Anand Tech rated the GA7VRXP as the top KT333 based board. There was some issue with version 1 of this board and the G4 card but it was corrected with version 2. I purchased my mobo back in Sept and received a version 2 so it isn't likely any version 1 boards are still in the pipeline but you should be sure just in case. With built-in sound, which I don't use, and a built in LAN adapter it's a pretty good value. I think I paid $75 US at PCprogress.
